I consider my style of painting to be Photorealism,
but I never place myself in competition with the Camera which is
designed to record exactly what it is focused on.
Example (A) above is a Studio Photograph
and example (B) is the Completed Oil Painting. There is clearly
a difference between the two, yet the painting bears a striking
resemblance to the photograph. That is what you can expect of me
with each Commissioned Nude. The difference between examples (A)
and (B) is in part why I like to refer to the finished painting
as the Artist's Rendering.
